Loom274 privacy
Loom274 keeps your family's data only to run your family's hub. No ads, no selling data, no tracking scripts.
What we collect
- Parents' sign-in emails. Your family's name and time zone, and each person's name and colour.
- Kids: a first name and a colour, and, if a parent sets one, a 4-digit wall PIN stored only as a one-way hash. No email, no birthday, no photo, no login.
- What your family adds: events, rides, chores, points, rewards, menus, groceries, notes and the memory verse, and a log of who changed what.
- Problem reports a parent or kid sends, with emails, phone numbers and keys removed.
Kids
- A parent creates every kid and agrees, at setup, that they are that child's parent or guardian.
- What kids do on the wall (ticks, notes) stays inside the family. Names are never sent to the AI that reads quick add.
- A parent can see everything (download), erase one kid's data, or delete the whole family at any time.
Who helps us run it
- Supabase (database and sign-in) and Cloudflare (the app and encrypted backups) store data for Loom274.
- Google (the Gemini API) receives the words a parent types into quick add, only to read them into an event; nothing is saved until you tap Save. Google may keep API requests for a limited time to detect abuse, under its own terms.
- Resend sends sign-in emails and problem reports.
- Google Calendar receives your events only if your family shares a Family Hub calendar with Loom274.
- Sentry receives crash reports with no names, messages or emails. Railway runs the nightly backup; it stores nothing itself.
How long we keep it
- While your family uses Loom274, and then as the retention page says: deleted data is gone from backups within 30 days.
Your choices
- Download everything, erase one kid, or delete the family from Settings → Your family's data.
- Questions or a request: Settings → Report a problem, and a person answers.
Changes
- If this notice changes in a way that matters, the version above changes and the app asks a parent to agree again.
